The House in November

During November the interior rooms began to get an identity.   Here we see the kitchen in a during and after shot.

Downstairs the maids bathroom was tiled and the water tank added. In the main bathroom the bath and toilet were put in place.







Upstairs the guest bathroom and Alex's red bathroom, to match his red bedroom, were also nearing completion





Meanwhile

May 2009

No matter the weather or the season butterflies come into our house to die. Most are larger than I am used to from the UK but not enormous. All seem to have a lot of black in their patterning. The bodies seem bulk and they don't so much flutter as flap, perhaps the thicker humid atmosphere here has something to do with that.
